Today we celebrate the first day of the Year of the Rooster. And per Vietnamese tradition, we visited our families and gifted them with food and well-wishes and in our case, flowers. It's an awesome way to kick off the new year, and is believed to really set the tone for the rest of the year.
I can't seem to get away from this yellow-orange palette. Most Vietnamese homes have a few pots of yellow mums for Tết, and that was my inspiration for these arrangements. We use giant mums, ranunculus, roses, tulips, and a bunch of spring time narcissus. It's really fitting because the Lunar New Year signifies not only a new year but also the beginning of spring.
With all the crazy things happening, we want to wish you a new year full of love, peace and joy. And maybe some perseverance to get through it all. We'll definitely get through it all.
PS. If you are interested in subscriptions, the examples you see in this post are Mini and Midi sized arrangements. We'll be adding more pictures and examples in the future. Thanks for your support!
